A: General Engineering Contractor

Authorizes construction of fixed works requiring specialized engineering knowledge and skill, including irrigation, drainage, water power, water supply, flood control, inland waterways, harbors, docks, shipyards, dams, hydroelectric projects, levees, railroads, highways, tunnels, airports, sewers, bridges, pipelines, parks, refineries, and power plants.

Not authorized: Does not authorize work under a Class B General Building Contractor license or any specialty (C) classification unless incidental to the engineering project.

C-21: Building Moving/Demolition Contractor

Raises, lowers, cribs, underpins, demolishes, moves, or removes structures including their foundations.

Not authorized: Does not include alterations, additions, repairs, or rehabilitation of permanently retained portions of structures.

C-22: Asbestos Abatement Contractor

Performs abatement including containment, encapsulation, removal, and disposal of asbestos-containing construction materials. Operates as a stand-alone classification regardless of other classifications held.

Not authorized: All work must comply with DOSH regulations and registration requirements.

D38: Sand and Water Blasting

Performs sand blasting and water blasting services.

HAZ: Hazardous Substance Removal Certification
