Authorizes construction of fixed works requiring specialized engineering knowledge and skill, including irrigation, drainage, water power, water supply, flood control, inland waterways, harbors, docks, shipyards, dams, hydroelectric projects, levees, railroads, highways, tunnels, airports, sewers, bridges, pipelines, parks, refineries, and power plants.

Not authorized: Does not authorize work under a Class B General Building Contractor license or any specialty (C) classification unless incidental to the engineering project.

C-16: Fire Protection Contractor

Lays out, fabricates, and installs all types of fire protection systems including all associated equipment.

Not authorized: Does not include electrical alarm systems.

C-34: Pipeline Contractor

Fabricates and installs pipelines for conveyance of fluids such as water, gas, or petroleum, including protective coatings and the trenching, boring, shoring, backfilling, compacting, paving, and surfacing to complete installation.

C-42: Sanitation System Contractor
